Holy boats, LMT is back at The Carleton!
What better time to dance away the late Winter blahs at one of Ottawa’s most historic venues? No better time, we say!
Trade your winter boots for dancin’ shoes and hang with us all night long. We’ve cooked up some new tasty tunes for this one, folks. You’re not gonna want to miss it!
What’s up, gang? It’s about time for a band State of the Union! What’s going on; what’s coming up and what we’re working on.
We’re spending most of March building our song repertoire and keeping the existing list fresh. We plan on having at least four new tunes in place for our next show; a two-nighter at the Blackburn Arms Pub on April 21-22. We LOVE The Arms and want to bring another fantastic weekend of tunes to the fine folks of Blackburn Hamlet.
Speaking of Blackburn Hamlet, we’ve been asked to close out the Saturday night, June 3rd, at the Blackburn Hamlet Fun Fair! Our half-cracked musical buddy Mike “Jake McCoy” Murphy and all the peeps on the Fun Fair staff work their collective tails off and we’re honoured to have been asked to headline a great day and night of music. There’s rides, games, great food, fireworks, and tons of live music!
As for upcoming shows, we’re always on the lookout for fun places to play, so this list may change. If you want more information on booking, please email email@example.com.
Here’s what we have in the books in the near future:
April 21-22: The Blackburn Arms – 9PM
June 3: The Blackburn Hamlet Fun Fair, 9PM
June 16-17: The Blackburn Arms – 9PM
June 17: Kemptville Ribfest, 4:30PM
September 15-16: The Blackburn Arms – 9PM
December 8-9: The Blackburn Arms – 9PM
We hope to see you at a show. Come say hi and have a pint! We can’t thank you enough for your continued support as we enjoy our 5th year together. Sociable!
Next up for LMT….well sort of LMT…our Little Miss will be Taken down south enjoying a sunny beach and drinks with umbrellas. The four guys will rock out an opening set for our good friends Sussex at The Brass Monkey on Saturday February 15th.
This will probably be our last show until the spring to give us time to work on some new tunes for you, so come out to catch our set then join us for a beverage as we watch Sussex deliver!
Next up for us is what will be a really fun night at BassLine Station with The Fake McCoys doing a set to open the night. Truman and Rob are pulling double duty as they are both also members of the Fake McCoys. We are all really looking forward to it.
